Cutters are designed to cut binding wire fastening the load on the open rolling stock and 3-wire taut band of up to 6.0 mm diameter. Cutters can be used to cut nails, wire, metal screens and other round objects of up to 10.0 diameter.
Cutters provide for cutting binding wire on 130 - 140 cars, loaded with reinforced concrete or timber. Cutters are necessary when unloading cars with the load fastened with wire of up to 8.0 mm diameter.
