Jumpers for cable racks are used on railway track sections with autonomous traction. They are designed for electric connection of cable strands (or cables) laid from rail circles of equipment and rails.
Jumpers are produced according to Technical Regulations TУУ 01057491.021-2000, authorized by Ukrainian Railway Standard Administration and Automatics, Telemechanics and Communication Administration of Ukrainian Railway.
The jumper consists of contact steel bolt 1 and steel plug 2, mutually connected by steel zinc-plated cable 3.
Cone part of plug 2 is zinc-plated. Each branch of the jumper goes in complete with isolating bushing 4, isolating ring 5, washers 6 and nuts 7.
