LSD "Varta-Universal M" consists of its body 1, rope 2, seal-washer 3, rope fixation mechanism 4 inside body 1.

The body is marked: with seven digit control sing of the device, abbreviated railway name, name of the device, the last figure of the production year, embossed trademarks "MДМ" and "УЗ".

The seal-washer is marked: with trademark "УЗ", full or abbreviated (not more than 13 characters) names of the station and the consignor.

ATTENTION:To protect LSD against forgery its body is zinc-coated and marked with embossed trademarks. All the literal and numerical information is presented in specific print.

After implementation of LSDs the losses caused by load thefts on railways were shortened four times!

LSDs were authorized by criminalistic and fireproof approval examination of Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs, and they have Ukrainian Patent N56685A protection.
